Chris Johnson has served in the Mississippi House of Representatives for the past four legislative sessions representing the people of Forrest and Lamar counties. During that time he has had the opportunity to meet and help many people. Senator Billy Hudson has chosen not to seek reelection and pursue service closer to home vacating Senate District 45. Chris has qualified to run for Senate District 45 and looks forward to increasing his influence in Jackson to help the people in the Pine Belt.
Chris will be on the Republican primary ballot in the August 6, 2019, primary election and he will be the Republican nominee in the November 5, 2019, general election.
